Here at Burton Hathow EYFS, we believe that children should have a well-balanced diet. Well, in order to contribute to our healthy snacks and meals, we have particularly enjoyed roasted fox, black tongue, scrambled snake and Gruffalo crumble!!!! Our escapades in the forest have provided opportunities to retell stories, enjoy a Gruffalo feast, warm marshmallows on the fire during Stay and Play, and make our own paint using mud and natural materials to mark make.

From the Sports Department…

The first half of the Autumn term has seen success across the board for all teams. The hockey term has started really well for our BH girls Both teams have developed their skills and tactical knowledge from last year. The understanding of the game has improved a lot. The games began with an U10 fixture away at Orchard with BH winning 11-0. Following that was a tougher challenge for the U10 team at High Fields. Always a competitive fixture; BH came out winners comfortably in the end 7-1.

ISA National Art Competition

For the first time, Burton Hathow entered the Independent Schools Association National Art Competition. We had a tremendous success! Three pieces of art work won their class in the 2016 Midlands Region competition and have gone on to the National Final which will be judged on 11 November. In addition to this, three more pieces received Highly Commended awards.
