Outdoor Education Day!

What a fantastic time we all had during Outdoor Education Day! Our spirits weren't even dampened by the poor weather, everyone threw on their wellies and mucked in. Not only did we get a visit from two piglets, even one of the school dogs, Sky, sniffed around to see what we were up to. Thank you to everyone who donated seeds, plants and all the tools we needed to kick off our own little farm. Everyone is very excited to see it grow.

Year 5 Visit Heckington Mill

This term, year five have used Heckington Mill as the stimulus for their art work. We visited on a windy day and so were able to see the sails go round and the wheat being ground into flour. The children learnt about the mechanics and processes of the mill first hand from the wonderful miller, Jim.
