Summer Fete 2018

Glorious weather again helped make the summer Fete a great success. What a hot and busy four hours it proved to be! Teachers, pupils, parents and friends of the school mixed very well, ate, drank and played games for personal pride or prizes and helped the Owls generate over £1500 towards bringing the school lake nearer use for the next academic year.

Spanish Day 2018

On Thursday 28th June Burton Hathow enjoyed their first Spanish Day. Both the students and staff dressed up and looked fantastic! All of the students took part in a variety of different activities. In the morning all years were taught in their normal classes, but, with a Spanish twist. In Art the students created Miro portraits. In Geography, students learned more about Spanish speaking countries.

Steady Hand Games - Year Six Science

This is always an enjoyable project for our Year 6 pupils at the end of the year. The games are made by soldering components onto a stripboard. The components used are a capacitor, two resistors, a thyristor and LED.

BH Campover 2018

This summer a record number of families participated in our BH campover. Just under 100 people attended in all and pitched their tents on the school field as there were too many for the meadow to take.
