A quick reminder about our Christmas event on Friday, 14th December.

We would like to invite registered children and their families to join us from 4:00pm, giving them the opportunity to see their new classrooms, and take part in some festive workshops to decorate their new school in preparation for their visitors. All other guests will be most welcome to join us for a magical Christmas sing-a-long from 5:30pm.

Our Burton Hathow family firmly plant their roots.

The atmosphere was one of buzz and excitement at Burton Hathow's first family event at school last Saturday. Over 400 trees were planted by founder pupils, family, staff and governors of the school. We were delighted to welcome so many families and provide our children with the opportunity to begin to feel at home in their new school with their new friends. Children from 2-11 were able to work together, planting trees and then rummaging in the woods for leaves as part of their science and art projects.

Our new school is really taking shape, Lindum are driving the project forward with ICT points installed and walls being plastered. The floor covering for the toilet areas to the upper floor is now laid. The vision for phase one will soon be complete for all to see. Our amazing nursery in the wood (which will possibly be the largest jigsaw puzzle our school will ever see) now has roof trusses in place. The cabin should be watertight very soon, allowing the next tradesmen to begin the first fix electrics and plumbing.
