At Burton Hathow, our focus and outlook for the children in our care is ‘Learning for Life’.
It is amazing to see how such young children can grow into such independent, expressive and imaginative learners. From re-enacting Goldilock’s and the Three Bears’ in the Forest to gaining first hand experiences and using our senses to explore a real fish when learning about ‘Under the Sea.’
The children have gained so much confidence by undertaking managed risks and stepping out of their comfort zone to explore aspects that they were unsure of.
Our imaginative thoughts have been inspired by our ‘Van in the Garden’. Oh, that vehicle has taken us to some places!!!!!
The children have performed in abundance, to their peers, to an audience and in so many ways from singing in the garden, to the Nativity and Sports Day.
It is wonderful, yet a little sad, to see the progression of their development from Caterpillars to Butterflies, from Butterflies to Reception and from Reception to Year 1. We wish all of the children the very best for the next stage of their journey. Have a wonderful Summer!
