Learning about compass points, year 1 and 2 had a lovely surprise in their online Topic lesson on compasses on Wednesday. They were joined by Mr Tony Austin, an aircraft avionics engineer. Mr Austin talked the children through the different compasses that the coastguard planes use, flying from Doncaster, that he services and maintains in working order.
