Nursery go Pond Dipping

The Butterflies enjoyed the Burton Hathow lake with a spot of pond dipping. The group listened really carefully as we talked about how to keep safe by the water and talked about the different creatures we might find. They took it in turns to use the net to scoop through the water, and very carefully tipped their findings into our tub. We didn’t find a frog but we were very excited when we caught a fish and a newt!
