Striking and fielding skills have been the topic for this term at Burton Hathow for all years including Nursery. Starting with rolling the ball with our youngest children, up to the full bowling technique for Year 5&6. Most recently we have moved on to batting, a lot of our children love to hit the ball hard and far which is great to see! 
This year we have had a real focus on girls’ cricket too. Moving away from Rounders has been a tough decision but with the local cricket provision we feel it is the right step. 

We look forward to the opportunity of playing fixtures in the next half term. Look out for Sports Day details to be released in the near future.
