What a fantastic term we have had in Lower School! It started off with a visit from Squeaky the Mouse, who brought great excitement to the classroom and prompted some amazing curricular opportunities from letter writing and science experiments to room designing and programming.

Christmas is upon us, meaning that the Owls have had a busy term. Games night saw 40+ people in attendance, with a mix of children and adults pitting their wits to win various games throughout the hall. - Thank you to those who attended.

The children have continued to flourish in their adapted environment of Caterpillars and Butterflies. Our provision provides the opportunities for children to develop their individual skills and become independent learners with the support and expertise from our staff as well as the wonderful nurture they offer.

From the Languages Department…

The Christmas term is always an exciting one, with the opportunity to learn a lot about the cultural differences in how Christmas is celebrated in other Countries. Nursery and Lower School learned all about the day of the Kings (January 6th) and made their own shoes to leave out in the hope they will be filled with sweets from the Kings, and not coal!

Task Master 2019

In our second Task Master competition, the children competed in 15 ‘tasks’ which encouraged creative thinking and lots of fun. Tasks included: best snack, most juice from a fruit, shaving foam art and many, many more.
