As you read all about the amazing adventures and achievements of this term you will have some understanding of what it means to be a Burton Hathow pupil. Quite frankly, it's jolly hard work! As a school we have very high expectations and your children work really hard to make sure that they achieve them. Sometimes they will fail. I talk about this a lot with pupils, parents and staff. Children need to be challenged and need to know what to do when it doesn't go well. Pick yourself up and try again but think of a different way to tackle the job. We work exceptionally hard but we also have a lot of fun along the way. This half term holiday, I would really recommend taking some time out as a family. A time away from the internet, a time away from work, a time away from those game consoles. Most importantly, a time to connect as the picture above illustrates. At Burton Hathow we know the importance of this and I think we find a good balance. Bonding with nature, taking a moment to step back and appreciate the natural beauty of our world. I challenge you, as a family, to do the same this half-term.
