Christmas is upon us, meaning that the Owls have had a busy term. Games night saw 40+ people in attendance, with a mix of children and adults pitting their wits to win various games throughout the hall. - Thank you to those who attended.
The Christmas fete is always a highlight for the Owls (be it also very stressful) and saw pretty much the entire school from teachers, pupils from Nursery through to year 6 and parents attend our fete to raise funds to aid the children of Burton Hathow. Mr C was on hand to hear all your children's wishes and I am sure you enjoyed the games and the socialising that took place during the event. Thank you for your excellent donations.
The Christmas disco was a real hit and saw lots of moves busted by the children and teachers alike! I do hope they were as warn out by the time they got home as I was!
The monies raised help the Owls pay for the annual trip to the theatre to see Robin Hood at the Theatre Royal and included the price of admission, transport, and ice cream at the interval. Feedback I have had as ever was brilliant and your children are a real credit to you and Burton Hathow.
So that is all from me, more news coming at the beginning of the year of more events and hopefully news of Burton Hathow's very first festival! Thank you as ever for your support and thanks to the Owls - Ruth, Susel, Jade, Sarah, Mrs South, Mrs Bowden, Mrs Ford (and Lucy for when I am not on hand) for all your hard work to keep us providing events.
And finally we wish you a very, very merry Christmas
