This netball term started with a training match at Wellow. Our U11 girls showing an excellent level of skill and understanding for such a young team. In the same week they played Orchard, in the first half BH struggled to deal with their very tall Goal Attack. In the 2nd half the girls came up with a good game plan to counteract their strengths. The game eventually finished 8-6 to Orchard. The boys U11 A and B team played at Horncastle Hockey Club against St Hughs. A successful trip with the B team winning 2-1 and the A team dominating a 1-1 draw. All the U9 boys hockey visited Worksop College to play Ranby House and St Hughs. The boys were mixed into different teams and played non stop hockey for over an hour. A great participation event for all our children.

Burton Hathow Cross Country took place in the last week of term. 5 schools visiting our site to run on the amazing course around Hathow Lake and Hathow Forest. Lots of happy competitors and parents left BH that day. George M was our best finisher in 2nd place in the U9 Boys race.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the event.
Parents vs staff netball was also played in this term. A very tight game dominated by the staff but the parents scraped a win in the end!

After returning back from half term our U9 boys faced Wellow House in an A and B fixture. U9A lost 1-0 after missing a lot of chances which should have seen them winning the fixture. U9B drew the game, all boys thoroughly enjoyed the fixture and some great football was played. The U9s then played Orchard House later on in the term winning 2-0. The next fixture of the term saw the U10 team head to Orchard House, the boys had a fantastic result winning 2-1. U11s were next facing Highfields at Burton Hathow. This fixture saw us play the best football of the term with some brilliant goals from Jack Coles-Mapleston and Joseph Jenkins. A massive well done to all the boys and girls involved in the fixtures and games lessons this term. Very well done to you all!
