It has been wonderful to have our classes back in school and to be together again. We have made the most of being together. In Nursery and Reception classes we have been learning about the seasons, looking at springtime and learning new vocabulary and songs. We enjoyed a Springtime treasure hunt outside and even practiced colours hunting for easter eggs.

In lower school we have been learning about weather and seasons, recently we have been looking at Easter traditions and made our own ‘monas de pascua’.

In upper school we have been covering a range of topics, including time, sports and clothes. We enjoyed making our own cascarones, a Mexican Easter tradition which share good luck. We also had our first video link lesson with the Virgen del Carmen school in Córdoba. We are looking forward to joining our year groups with theirs for some interactive lessons next term, it will also be great for year 6 to finally be able to meet their pen pals. I am looking forward to the Summer term where we will all be learning some Italian.
