This term year 1 and 2 have been looking at the life cycles of domesticated and wild birds, farm animals and mammals from the savannah. We have painted some beautiful toucans and have reenacted the story of Farmer Duck. In Literacy, year 1 have written their own books about superheroes, whilst Year 2 have been studying stories by Anthony Browne and planning their own adventure. In Maths we have been looking at fractions, multiplication and adding and subtracting 2 digit numbers. We are very much looking forward to becoming one big team in September, with our combined year 1 and 2 classes. Our ‘move up’ day was very positive for all concerned, and we wish our wonderful year 2s every success as they transition to Upper School.
As always, we would like to thank you for all your support this year, and both wish you and your families a wonderful summer!
