The last Friday afternoon before Half Term saw the Halse Hall packed with parents and grandparents for our first informal concert of the year.
Upper School Orchestra opened proceedings with a rousing version of Pachelbell’s Cannon, complete with guest soloist and birthday boy, Mr. Bell on tubular bells!
Soloists included a number of budding pianists and every department of the school had the chance to share their Harvest songs.
Upper School Choir gave a rendition of ‘Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head’ as a finale, as an ironic reminder of their antediluvial  trip to Kinder Scout. 
All in all a great way to end out first half term and to whet everyone’s appetites for even more musical highlights to come later in the year.
