This year, we were very fortunate to be able to restart our annual Spain trip. Children from Year 4,5 & 6, visited the new Arbolar centre in Aguilas,Murcia. There was much excitement as we arrived at the centre, with the sun shining and the blue sea right outside the hotel. The children took part in numerous activities including kayaking, paddle-boarding and sailing along with a lot of beach games. During our stay we were lucky enough to visit the Alcazar in Aguilas and even had a private boat tour to see the town from the Sea. We had so much fun in our cookery lesson with the centre manager “El Rey del Mar’ creating our own version of traditional Spanish dishes. On the last evening the children were given some free time to spend their money in town on a variety of gifts. The whole week was very rewarding and an experience I am sure both year groups will remember for a long time to come.
